    Harlie

When I met Harlie I was at an ''animal auction'', they were supposed to only be selling hay, food and eggs. However, over to the far side was a corner stacked high with about 25 rabbits, a mix of lops, rex and flemish crosses were what made up the majority, but, in a small box all on her own was...

Very new to the world of bunnies!

Hello, and welcome, I personally recommend a male rabbit as I personally think they are less skittish and my males have always been faster to bond with me compared to my females. However, rabbits live best in pairs or groups (once neutered then bonded) so you could get a male and a female...

Questions about the timing of kindling

If they got together and even bred once it is more than likely she is pregnant. It does depend on the rabbit as to when they give birth I have had some at 28 days and others at 34. From what I know breed doesn't effect the duration of the pregnancy, it depends on the diet and individual...

    Best Rabbit Clippers?

Hi all, I have been spending at least 3 hours a week grooming my angora mix and i just don't have the time to do so at the moment due to exams. Because of this I am considering shaving her again. I have previously purchased some clippers but they are appalling so i am doing my research before...

Please help my rabbit! He was attacked by a dog and has a fractured pelvis

I am very sorry about that. However, considering he is 7 years old + is it really worth all that suffering for him. Rabbits are very sensitive to anesthetic at a young age not to mention at an old age, it is very risky... If you do choose to do the surgery, i would agree with some of the above...

    Rabbit run suggestions

Firstly, i suggest building your own, for a decent size it would cost you £100 up. I would also say attempt to put it a shelf or a second level, as with my run i made that was one of the only things i regret not doing. But, is it going to be an outdoor run? Hope i helped

Advice: How Much Fighting To Allow In Bonding?

I had never has a problem with bonding and most of my bonds would be done within the first week. That was until Harlie came along, i think she thought every rabbit that she came into contact with was just to make her pregnant. It took me 7 weeks (which, compared to yours, is nothing) but for...

    Refurbished Run !!

Hi, about 6 months ago me and my dad made a huge built in run. Initially the flooring was turf but thanks to Harlie it got shredded, so since then i got wood chippings only to find out they were poisonous and I had to return them. Today i visited my local B & Q and ended up spending over £25 on...

Which Bedding For Angora Mix ??

I am using towles a the moment thanks to everyone's suggestions. I don't feel comfortable putting her on wire due to all the bad things i have read about it and the fact that Billy her lop friend gets sore feet easily. I am looking into buying some clippers online, does anyone know of any good...

Which Bedding For Angora Mix ??

Hi, Harlie is getting her present bedding (shavings) caught in her fur almost constantly, I have considered Lino, but she is extremely destructive and she would 'kill' in within the first hour of it being in the cage. Is there another bedding I could use which wouldn't get as stuck in her...
