Hi, i'm new here.My name is Fran and i'm 15. I got my bunny on Saturday. I've had rabbits in the past but being very young i have to say i was a useless owner. I probably nagged my mum for rabbits and then was petrified and ended up leaving her to do all the work. Rabbits probably aren't the best pets for young children anyway.
My new rabbit is called William. I got him from a rescue home where he was dumped in a box with his mum and siblings. I believe he is a broken fawn lop? Not sure if that is right, maybe you can tell me.
He's quite tame, likes being stroked but hates being picked up. I thus have scratches ALL OVER my shoulder. Its far too hot to be wearing round the neck t-shirts and jumpers so i have lots of big scratches on my chest that i'm putting ointment on everyday, hopefully soon he'll learn. I guess he just have to keep trying until he gets used to the fact that he doesn't have a choice about being picked up.
Currently he's kicking important CDs of my bedside table because he wants to climb on them.
Here are some pictures i took just now:
Will get him neutered when he's old enough and get him a girly friend.
Thanks
