simba was all orange and white when i got him now he is mostly greyish blackish and white in the face and his orange is getting to be dark grey on his body also. why would he be changing color?

Could you provide us with some clear pictures of what he looked like when you first got him, and what he looks like now?

I see in your box that he's a Dutch. Is he purebred? Because fawn/orange isn't a recognized variety in purebred Dutch, so he could be a mix.

he probably changing his fur color based on summer and winter for camouflouge. its natural. (also has to do with shedding and tht stuff)
so its nothing to worry about
hope that helped

I can't remember where I read this & the details are fuzzy in my mind, but I THINK I read that some orange coloring could be a sign of some kind of diet deficiency. Is so, he's now getting a better diet & it's going away.

Doubt the OP has even come back to this topic yet despite it being over a week old.

Photos of simba for those who dont know what he looks like.

Many bunnys will change colours as they age especially since Simba was a baby when you got him. Just as Brandy, Larry and Patches stated, they change as they moult.

Loki was almost a similar colour all over (bit darker), now that hes almost a year old hes much much much darker with chocolate brown flecking on his body and around his nose.
