Why I was AWOL

Hi Guys

I thought I would tell you why I was AWOL for nearly/over a year.

Where should I begin.

Well, I will keep it to the short version.

Firstly, I had no internet So I couldn't keep up to date.

The next piece is a bit hard, but here goes.....

In the same week at the end of last summer things went terribly bad for me.

1st my mum had to have a major OP on the neck, then 2 days later my nan was rushed into hospital as she had had a major stroke, then at the end of the same week, I had to have a deep lateral cyst in my neck removed.

14 Days after my nan died.

I subsequently went down with depression and was put on medication.

And with Whizz's accident also, it was one thing after another.

Now, I am doing better, no longer on the meds. My mum still has problems. I dont think the OP she had helped.

It is so nice coming home to the forum, and great to see so many of the members I know.

I've had alot to catch up on with all the bunny blogs etc..

I want to say thanks for the welcome back messages that I received.

I'm so sorry to hear of the things you and your family have been going through. Sometimes difficult things seem to hit all at once, don't they? And they can certainly be overwhelming.

I think you need one of these :hug:, both to say things will get better, and, welcome back(!) to the forum. It's great to see you posting again!

I'm so sorry things have been so hard and rough but it really sounds like you are starting to move forward and repiece your life together, which is fantastic for you.

I know you are in Germany - is your extended family there?

I'm so happy your life is getting better. It's awful to have so many things happen at one time.

Hi Bo

I have in Germany, one of my sisters, my nephew and when she is here my mum.

In the UK I have most of my family. The rest a dotted all over the world.

I come from a typical big Irish family.
