Why does my rabbit have 1 ear up and down

I know my rabbit is at least part mini lop because the father was mini lop. My rabbit has 1 ear up and 1 ear down (he is 7 weeks) so does that mean the mother might be something else? The mom had one ear down and the other ear was a "helicopter ear" I guess you call it. What are the chances of his ear going down? I don't think it will which is fine because he is really cute, but I'm just wondering. Thanks.
