Found these deals, wanted to know which is (in your opinion) a best deal, which works best, which isn't any good, etc :3

And is $17.99 for a corner litter box too much? They're outgrowing theirs and are actually starting to be good about picking the same spot for peeing, so I think they'll be ready for training soon! :3

Pine shavings are not good for rabbits. The paper bedding tend to not be that absorbent and can be expensive. Paper pellets are good, but buy the cat ones as they are the same product but tend to be cheaper as cat litter only buy the unscented stuff). Petsmart does have wood pellet cat litter that is good to use as well. http://www.petsmart.com/cat/litter/..._id=36-13480&_t=pfm=category&pfmvalue=faceted

For the litter box, get a large rectangular cat box. They are a better size for most rabbits and tend to be cheaper than the rectangular ones. http://www.petsmart.com/cat/litter-...6-catid-200094?var_id=36-6670&_t=pfm=category

I don't know what kind of stores you have available to you, but farm and feed stores tend to sell wood pellet litter for horses and it is much cheaper than the cat litter. It is also available as wood stove pellets, but those probably aren't too popular in warmer areas. Walmart can be good for litter boxes, but some dollar stores sell them too. Shop around for some supplies if you can. Even a good sized plastic tub can be used as a litter box, you don't have to stick to actual litter boxes.

Thanks! Ill look into the wood pellets for the litter :)

And yeah I've found cheap box litterboxes but I prefer the actual rabbit ones because it has that wire bottom that lets the poop and pee fall into a pan that is easier to clean, when I'm in college and such I sometimes get home very lazy and don't clean until like a few days later, and it's much easier to clean that way x)

And yeah no farm things here, just some small pet stores that charge you an arm and a leg, cheapest options are petsmart and walmart (not even kmart have good selections) and targets don't exist here :c

I would recommend the newspaper pellets. I have been using them for a long time and there absorb very well, dry, and are great at keeping odor down. I would also recommend getting a large 30 pound cat version of the same litter for a lot cheaper like Yesterday's News. I found it at pet smart and my local grocery store. I got for mine for only $13 and it lasts a long time.

Make sure it's unscented though! ;)

Thanks! I went ahead and bought the paper pellets :3 I found a HUGE unscented bag in the cat section, it was literally the same thing, and it was like 25 lbs for $16! The bag I bought is $9 for much less, but I'm kind of tight right now so I bought the small one to test out and see if it's good for me and if it is I'm totally buying the huge bag :D Thanks!

gosh. i would never buy anything at petsmart. about 70% of them time you can find that stuff cheaper some where else. and this is also why i never buy from them. [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndkHjAZDSfQ&list=PL0A829E3B90B18311[/ame]

Unfortunately my choices are buying the supplies more expensive online, getting them shipped to my parent's house in FL and paying for more shipping for my parents to send it to me in PR because most online stores don't ship to PR.

Oooor get them in PetSmart for cheap and have my bunnies be healthy and comfortable :c It's sad, but I'm not going to spend more money when I can have odor controlling litter and save myself the head ache for $9 x.x; The "pet stores" where I live aren't actual pet stores, they are called "agro centers" and sell things around ten times more expensive and usually only cater to dogs, cats and birds. These are the same stores that offered me a hamster cage for my bunnies and that sell colored water to uneducated dog/cat owners telling them they're vaccines. So in my case, PetSmart is the best choice for me.

And PETA is also the organization that was upset that Mario used animal skin on his uniforms... in a video game. Aaand their over sexualized commercials... with the porn website they want to make. So I don't really take them very seriously.

Anything PETA is not welcome on this forum either.

Petsmart is a great choice.
They usuallu have the yesterdays news or Esquizacat brands if you want paper or wood pellets for litter. Otherwise i use aspen shavings. Been using their brand of aspen shavings for my snakes and rats for years, and my old rabbit prior to that.

I'm trying out the newspaper pellets to see how I like it, I only find scented pine pellets in their cat section (but I'm willing to see if they have it online because I *think* PetSmart delivers to PR. BUT I did find a HUGE bag of newspaper pellets (not scented or anything) for $16, so if I end up liking this I'm definitely going for the huge bag, I just didn't want to buy the huge bag before knowing if it worked for me or not. Aspen shavins were pretty cheap too, but when I went back to buy they were out! D:

no, i don't like PETA at all either. (sorry Watermelons, did not know that) i just like that video because it give you a bit of a look into petsmart's animal suppliers.

Cool its about time I find a post about this.I've been wondering myself too and was about to start asking.I've used pine once when I got a rabbit that came with his set up. After I used nothing but newspaper bedding but noticed the "baking soda" wasn't as absorbent and it also leaves stains in the litter box.I then switched to the wood pellets since I noticed the local pet store had almost every animal on them. Its cheap you can get it in bulk as oppose to the ones that Kaytee brand sells in small expensive amounts. I've been using the pellets for a while now.it do sent smell and it expands to a sandy like texture.pretty much what korr&soph said is perfect
