Watery eye

Hello everyone,

I am a new bunny owner, I have a baby bunny that I purchased. The breeder originally told me that he was 10 weeks old but then he later told me it was actually 5 weeks old (too young, I know). He is now about 7 weeks old, and I've noticed that one of his eyes has been very watery because the fur below is always wet and crusty. He seems to be behaving normally, I'm just not sure if I should do anything about it. I have attached a photo of what it looks like. I don't see any yellow or white discharge but it's sticky.

Your bunny need a vet, it can be something stuck in the eye. Because the eye is red which tells that there something wrong with it.

So make sure to book the earliest vet time you can get.

Both eyes are that same pink ish color in the eyelid, and the other one isn't watering at all so I figured that was a normal color for his eyes....

That colour is too intense compared with what I’ve seen. Also watery eye is something that should be checked by vets. It can be many thing causing it for example tooth problems, stuck hay, scratch to the eye, eye infection, clogged up tear channels and so on. Because it have gone a few days and not clearing have it check up.

You can make a saline solution and flush the eye, to see if it will help . But it would better to check the eye at the vet.
