I saw these pellets while browsing www.BunnyRabbit.com. I am looking for other alternatives (a bit cheaper) than ordering Oxbow. I was about to place my order, then I decided to give the search one more try.

I know this food has dried junk in it, but it could be picked out if the pellets themselves are good. I don't know how to tell through the ingredients. I, of course, will not feed this if it is a bad food...I am just curious about it because I didn't know there was another Timothy based pellet out there...

I'm using Sunseed Vita Plus too.i mix it with Oxbow to make my Oxbow supply last longer

so far, Sunseed vita plus is the best i can find locally.. the other brands are high in protein and low in fiber. i remove the dried junk, just in case they're too high in carbs..

I don't like pellet mixes, firstly because the rabbit picks out thetasty staff (which is always the bad one, namely treat additions, dried fruit, nuts etc.) and secondly because of the high content in sugar, fat and protein (see all the dried carrots, banana, corn, peas, cane molasses, etc.) that the mixes contain.

Protein contents are okay (though it says min 12%, but does not state the max.), even leaning towards the low side, fat would bewithin safe marginsif 1.5% was the max, but here it says "min." -again-, 16% of fibre is marginal, but its max. being 35% is fine. Does is mention calcium contents? Some of the dried stuff I read in the content list are high in calcium...

Overall, it's a more or less typical pellet mix. I'd go for whole good quality pellets without the addition of anything else.

Thank you, Marietta. I just wanted to see if this pellet was alright, but I think I'd rather go with something else. I am looking at American Pet Diner right now.
