hi all
i have been told that lucy of my vet
doesnt need the mysie Jab or the vhd jab
because she is a house rabbit and never goes outside
i think he was thinking of the cost but i would rather pay than have her ill

I would tell the vet that you'd feel better if she got them anyway.

Definately! Because my buns are house rabbits (although they do play outside) they still get vaccinated but only once a year instead of 6 months... It's not a great cost, and I think it's well worth the money for the protection it offers!

Hi, they are right you are better to have them vaccinated. Flies can still get in the house which can pass it also cat fleas so if cats go in your garden then there is a chance.

I have 5 houserabits and they all get done always better safe than sorry

Yes Varna, I would definately get Lucy vaccinated. There is a lot of myxi about, and you never know what could happen. Better safe than sorry
