Hi there everyone, I'm new to the forum as a few weeks ago I was coming home from a doctor's appointment and found a wee bunny on the side of the road. He is the sweetest thing and and in just a couple of weeks he is already litter box trained for tinkle...still working on the poo part.

Anyway, I was just wondering if there was any way to tell what kind he is just by looking at pics of him.

Thanks

The images are a little small to tell, but most likely a mix breed, that colour pattern occurs in many breeds so it can be very difficult to tell.

Hmmm when I first posted them they were full size, now they are tee tiny....
I appreciate it though. He might be a mutt, but he is special, and so smart and sweet too.
Thanks a bunch :)

His coat is very soft, but not to the point of those velveteen rabbits I have pet before, but his fur reminds me of soft cotton that you could just mushy into for a pillow and it has kind of a wave to it a little, not completely straight.

And my goodness, I just realized he has a heart on his nose, that makes him even more special.... since my images are coming up too small, here are the links to the photos of him so you can see them better....

He has rex fur. So that makes him rex/mini-rex or a cross. You can also tell because he has short, curly whiskers.

He is still young so may develop a more Rex like coat as he gets older, my thoughts would be with a Rex cross. Either way u have a lovely bunny!

Thank you for the help and the compliment on the little guy. I had help in determining that he was only about a month old or so when I found him, so have to wait at least 3 1/2 more months now (as I have had him over 3 weeks) to see about getting him neutered.
I love how he just sits in my lap like a puppy for the longest time, it is so darn sweet I can't get over it hehee

I agree with rex. Chances are he is a mini rex if he stays around 3-5lbs and a standard rex if he grows to 9-12lbs. Color is called broken castor :) Very cute

Thanks, I was taking a guess when I first got him at a broken rex, but wanted some help kind of determining a little more, so i definitely appreciate all the help :)
