Hello, i looked at the house rabbit society page and couldn't find the answer to my question.if the hay is just timothy hay but labled for horses would it be safe for a rabbit? I heard that you can give almost everything Thats safe for a horse hay wise to a rabbit, i dont know if that's true though. I looked through the item page, its just timothy hay and nothing added ,would it be safe for a rabbit?

Thank you for your time and help.

Horse hay and "rabbit" hay is the same thing. Companies and sellers try to make more money off the hay so they sell maybe half a flake for quadruple the price in some cases and label it rabbit or another small animal only.

As long as the hay is ‘horse quality’ it’s fine for rabbits. There is a lower quality hay sold for cattle, which you don’t want. This is something to keep in mind if you’re buying hay from a farm or feed store.
