Hey everyone,

I just wanted to come on here and share some information about a local supplier we recently found on Kijiji. They sell 3 lbs bags of 2nd cut timothy hay, sourced from a horse ranch up north of the GTA area. We've been looking to buy farm hay for quite some time now but all of the places that sell farm hay are out in the middle of nowhere and as someone living in downtown Toronto without a car, it becomes challenging to go so far for some hay :(

Luckily we found these guys and they live downtown so we can easily subway there. Our bunnies love the hay and we love the price! It's $5 for 3 lbs of hay which is a steal since our local pet stores sell them for like $14..... The quality is good and our bunnies love them! Will definitely be buying again.

If anyone is interested in getting some hay for their pet rabbits but don't want to drive too far out of the city, check these guys out. Their email is

We attached some photos of the hay we bought

Your rabbit has the similar coloration of our two Flemmish! Although we live in the metropolitan area of Los Angeles, we do live near Palos Verdes, which has a neighborhood zoned for horses. Property there is very expensive. Because of the horse population, there is a feed and grain store that sells hay. Mostly oat hay. An eighth of a bale of oat hay costs $5. An eighth of a bale is known as a flake. 8 flakes make one bale. Therefore $40 a bale of oat hay. This is much cheaper than a small bag of hay bought at a pet store.

We probably use at least two flakes per week, of oat hay, for our bunnies litter boxes. They love to chomp on the oat hay, especially the oat kernals.
