4 weeks ago my baby started shedding. For the first two weeks I thought that it's something like a spring shedding (though she usually don't shed). When I realized that bold spots doesn't get covered with new fur + she has something like dandruff (white dry substance on fur + skin gets irritated). We went to wet and she was diagnosed with one of two (mites vs sebacious adenitis). Treatment for mites doesn't helped + she lost so much fur in just last week (seems like it's accelerating problem), we went today to vet again.
This time they noticed harder breath & suspected the thymoma. X-ray showed pretty large thymoma, looks like solid.
Doctor says she advises CT + radiotherapy (and would expect 2-3 years) or steroids (but then she wouldn't expect more than year). My bunny is 7 years old.
What to know if any bunny lived longer then 2-3 years after radiation? I'm afraid that there is still risk of not surviving after this. I'm not ready to lose her right now.
