Just spent 2 hours looking for Ruth, a brown-white checkered doe, I began to fear the worst, a fox attack, despite there were no signs like the other rabbits being nervous or fluffs of fur.
Found her. Happily digging a tunnel on the other side of the brook, which they normally do not cross, but it has fallen dry (first time, noone here remembers that - those kinds of "first times" start to accumulate in recent years... )
When they are busy they don't listen to being called, I only found her because of the pile of fresh dirt in the thicket.
Gave me quite a scare, my favorite girl....
