teeth problems

why are teeth problems so commen in oder rabbits?

since christmas my 5 year old rabbit has had multiplevisitsto th vet to have his teeth ground down as they werecausing him problems. however he has never had this problem before andi cannot understand the sudden surge of teeth growth in only 5 months.does any one know why age causes further teeth problems or what i cando to help prevent so many moreexpensive vet visits in thefuture.

Have You triedgiving him more hay or Oatgrasses to chew on ? Hasy andOAt grass help wear down teethin a normal fashion . hashe been getting more calcium recently?

Try more hay or grassesand see what helps is best Ican tell you until I do afurther search .
