Stewart came to me a year ago when his former owner went to college and no longer had time to care for him. (I do wish people who plan to go to post secondary school would refrain from adopting pets!) I was looking for a bonding partner for Zelda and thought he'd be perfect because he's neutered. When I arrived to pick him up, the girl had him tucked under one arm, and a guinea pig named Piggy under the other. She told me they had always lived together, so I took both. When I got them home, they both got along with Zelda, but a bit of research told me that Piggy needed his own digs. So I built him his own cage, and adopted a spayed sow to keep him company. They live right beside the rabbit pen/cage. Zelda and Stewart are getting along great, he's half of her size and they look so cute together!
