Spaying

I'm not sure of Daisy's age, she may be 4 or 5months. I'm planning of having her spayed and thought that she would beready to have this procedure done within the next month.

Do you think it's too early? Should I wait until she starts to exhibit mating behaviour?

Around the six month mark is usually a good timeto get it done. I just got my doe spayed and she's six months old. Itwas stressful at the time, but I'm very glad that we did it.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll waitanother 2 to 3 months just to make sure since I'm not positive abouther age.

Don't think it becomes problematic, healthwise,until the bun reaches the age of three. After that I believeit gets riskier for one reason or another. You might want toget it done earlierthan three, obviously, to eliminate orreduce undesirable behaviors.

Megan's one and she's not spayed yet...my mom can't afford it

Peppy's also over a year old and not neutered but he's the sweetest bunever, hes not aggressive whatsoever...you could probably pick him up bythe ears and he wouldn't care lol (not that I would ever do that)
