I am just wondering because of my previous situation of 2 rabbits giving birth together and then being kept seperate because of them fighting, how soon can i spay them to try and re-bond them and prevent more births? They both gave birth on the 1st Oct, Mum Tatty ending up abandoning her babies after about 4 days, and Daughter Tianna-Ali ending up bringing up all 6. The babies are 3 weeks old today, so obviously i won't spay Tianna, but is it too soon to spay Tatty? Although Tatty has made a sort of nest so i worry tht mine would be one of the only rabbits that would get pregnant in 2 horns at different times, but as the babies are 3 weeks old she would have to have got pregnant again a week later to still be pregnant now, but the hutch was fixed according to my boyfriend. But after a pregnancy check is it too soon to do mum now? And how soon can i do the daughter with the babies? I'm not sure if i am going to keep the babies or not, but my favourites are all boys, so i also want Tianna spayed before the boys hit puberty so i can keep them with her if i decide to keep them. And finally, if i keep the daughters with their brothers, the boys will hit puberty about a month before the girls can get pregnant so could i get the boys neutered while still living with their sisters or is this risking it too much? Obviously i want no more accidents, but if i can keep the siblings together, there's more chance i can keep them all.
