How do I keep Mason from kicking and flicking the soft-sorbent litter all over my floors?! It is driving me nuts I have to constantly sweep it up and I have tried every litter they have come out with, some just stinks when urinated on, he eats one of them, I am allergic to pine or aspen, so soft-sorbent is the only one we can use. If I got a sheet of that metal stuff some of the cages are made out of would it be safe?

I think your best bet is to find some type of grid to put over it. You can use a metal grid (maybe something like a cooling rack, that you would cool cookies on) or go to the hardware store and look for fluorescent lighting grids.

Try a higher sided litter tray eg a storage box. Or you can buy hooded cat litter trays. That way he can dig without making a mess :)
