My 10 year old bunny, Black Velvet has started to smell. The two things that have helped somewhat are carbon filter pads that are made for cat litter boxes. I just lay them on top of his cage and they are supposed to absorb the gases from the urine. Also Peters rabbit litter is the best I've found at eliminating the smell. its expensive (10.99)but I just found it cheaper (6.99) on rabbitstop.com. both of these things worked for a while, but I still need to clean his cage more often than when he was young.

My question is: now that Blackie is 10, he has loose stool from the same food he's been eating for years. It's breeders grade food ( Brown's) that I buy from a local farm that supplies animal feed.

Is there a food for older bunnies?
