We traveled this weekend and when we got home, I noticed my rabbits poops were much smaller than usual. He’s eating his pellets and hay though. Should I be concerned?

Well it happens when rabbits do not get enough hay or when they don't eat properly due to change in diet.

Provide your rabbit with unlimited hay ,it is the key to proper diet. It also improves their digestive system and dental health.
It would turn to normal size then.

He always has access to a rack load of fresh Timothy and fresh water from a bowl that’s changed out daily.

How old is your bunny and how much pellets do you give?

Did your bunny get any treats during the day which might have an impact?

It could be stress related gut slowdown. In that case it should get better in a day or two. Limit pellets to no more than 1 tbsp a day to encourage hay consumption.

The other reason could be stress in rabbits. Sometimes certain stress experiences also affect rabbit poops temporarily. Make sure he just continues to eat properly especially hay/grass. He'll be back to normal soon.
