Side panels for NIC/custom cages

Hi there guys.
I am using an XL dog crate for my two mini lops, and I didn't imagine they'd be able to kick their litter and get hay as far as they do on the floor, haha.

So, I'm looking for a good option to add some kind of side paneling to the bottom of the cage to keep things a little bit more under control and contained. I've heard of people using chloroplast? Or different kinds of plastic, I am just wondering how it is actually attatched and set up on the sides.

I'm thinking most side panels are zip tied but not sure, any suggestions?

I'm stealing this idea! :bow could I use duct tape on the outside as long as I make sure my future bun doesn't chew it? They have some pretty awesome duct tape lately and it would pretty up the cardboard. :brownbunny

Coroplast can work being zip tied to the sides. You do want to make sure your bun(s) do not chew it.

I've used zipties in the past to attach cardboard to things... duct tape would be okay as long as it was only on the outside and the bunny never had access to it, though.

Yea you could use duct tape, but zip ties are cheaper
