that happens with my bun sometimes. i have also seen it with my cat. i believe it is normal

Yep, pretty normal I think. If you see it happening excessively or notice any redness/swelling/pain from the area, then it might be worth a vet visit, but this seems pretty normal to me. I also used to have it happen with my cats quite often.
