I wanted to get input from those who have satins. I actually saw a comment by Nancy McLelland on the thread about Freckles, one of the bunderground buns. I didn't want to hijack the thread.
Nancy mentioned that her satins seems to shed for a long time. One of my rescued buns is thought to be a satin mix (white one in photo). With all the rescues I've had, I've never had a satin. His fur is definitely different. He is looking all scruffy now and has looked that way for, oh..., maybe 2-3 weeks.
He accepts limited affection. I've mostly been petting him and trying to pull out loose fur that way.He just doesn't shed the same as other rabbits. Any suggestions?
I've ordered the Hairbuster comb since other brushes seemed to have no affect. Still waiting on that to arrive.
Has anyone with satins figured out any tricks for dealing with their shed?
