We are thinking about getting a bun from my neighbor. She thinks it’s about 4 wks old. I have sexed rabbits before but never that young. Hoping someone can help.

We aren’t taking it yet. We need a doe, so won’t take it at all if it’s not. Just trying to find out the sex.

It looks like a buck right now. You might wait a week or so and check again. Place one finger just above and one just below, and gently push in a little bit. Pushing too far can make a buck look like a doe.

Once you push back look if white color on round tip of genital show up. It will be buck.
