You posted that just for me didn't you? :D

Do we have another thread about.... identifying boys? ;)

Yes, actually I did...and I'm thinking of including the above links in the Grooming thread, as they're kinda more directed toward such things as CLEANING the scent glands. I couldn't find ANYTHING that said WHAT they use them for, which was originally WHY I made this thread...but eh, whatever. :D

About identifying boys...do you mean sexing? If so, there's a thread about that here.

:biggrin2:

LOL! yep.

I think there is a link in that thread now about what the usage for the glands are.

I found some new info and clarified some things with that question - pretty cool :)

Well, I had known about a couple of the things and heard that they could choose the scent thing, but wasn't sure how accurate that was. Maybe there were times they smelled more or whatever.

It's interesting for sure. It's also curious as to how little we still know about the function of some things of all animals including humans!

This board is so cool because we share and learn so much all the time it seems.

Great pic of dirty scent glands by one of our member's, Jen (Mousechalk)! Thanks Jen!:)
