So, we were planning to take the Rhinelanders to a few of the last shows this year; the only problem is I've noticed that non of the shows are (yet) sanctioned for the breed.

Now could we still earn possible legs (or even show) and a show that is not sanctioned for the breed? I'm thinking not unless someone sanctions the show for the breed....but I'd like to know for sure. Or even if it would be worth taking the rhines there if they cannot show.

Thanks :)

You talk to the show secretary/superintendent and pay the fees to sanction the breed for that show. Fees range for sanctions depending upon the breed/breed club I think...I want to say its around $20 or so?

You can get legs if your breed isn't sanctioned!! I've never taken my Jersey Woolies to a show where they were sanctioned. As long as it's sanctioned by ARBA, you get legs...
