Romain lettuce?

I'm kicking myself, i got up this morning and realized i left my bunnies romaine lettuce out all night. Will it be ok, or should i just throw it out and buy more. It was out for about 9 hours (give or take)Its was not real warm in here last night, but is it ok if it is not refrigerated?

You can give it a good soak in icy cold water to help crisp it up again. Then dry it off and pop it back in the fridge.

Use your best judgement. And if it's gone completely bad, then toss it. But if it looks okay after a water soak, then keep it.

My personal opinion....if there is any doubt at all, toss it. My buns' health is not worth risking over a $3 head of lettuce.

Thanks it was only $2, so i should just toss it. I got some "use" out of it, but it was an almost full one. Just kicking myslef i didn't go back in the kitchen.

i do this at least once a week. i just chuck it the next morning when i realize it. it's usually the parsley or cilantro, which turns a yellowy color so i know it's done for.

I've done the same thing, usually with Parsley, I always just pitch it. Not worth getting my bun sick over like a dollar.
