Ataxia and vitamin E deficiency (AVED) is also a inherited disorder in humans. If this is the suspected cause of "Flopsy", responsible breeders will stop breeding rabbits that are carriers of this disease.

Well....since I'm not breeding anymore....that shouldn't be a problem.

If she makes it - Valerie will live with us and I'll always keep vitamin E on hand for her and probably give her a dose once a week or so...

Water soluble vitamin E is often a better choice in cases of genetic ataxia.
