Phoenix normally has orangey red urine... I notice it's usually when she's getting a lot of vitamins and minerals such as when I gave her vitamin drops in her water every morning or when I started giving her veggies every morning.
I discontinued giving her the drops In wAter to see what happened and the orange went away and she just had plain urine. Since giving her veggies every morning for the last month her urine is orange everyday. I don't know if it is like that consistently throughout the day or not. Normally the color should only last 2-3 days but with her I have a hard time remembering when I saw normal colored urine.
She also urinates a lot! She is getting more water though since I normally feed her veggies still wet and she already drinks a lot to begin with. It's not out of ordinary for her and she does not strain to urinate she urinates a few times a day in large quantities appropriate to how much she drinks but should I go get her urine sample tested anyways?
The vet assured me she was all fine it's just Im worried about the fact that the orange urine is more often than not present. I'm am simply concerned... How much do your bunnies urinate? I normally use newspaper but it's getting to the point where I think I need to pick up a natural clumping litter to put under her grate in her litter box!
