My Nethie girls are feeling a little bony when I stroke them, and I think they need to put on a little weight.

What's the best way to do this? Should I just increase pellets, or is there something specific I can give them (bearing in mind that I'm in South Africa so many feed varieties are unavailable to me).

thanks

Yes, I heard that too Maureen.

Also, some regular oats (not quick or instant, just traditional oats) can help too.

An increase in pellets could help too.

Do you know why they have lost some weight? It's probably important to look at that issue too.

If you have 15 % to 18 % pellets I would increase the amount being feed,or keep then on full feed till they are bigger,if they came from skinny parents then thats probably the same for them.

I think they've hit a little growth spurt, but also a little loss post-spay. they eat everything though.

Should the sunflower seeds have shells on?
