Hi! I just joined thiswebsite and am hoping to receive a lot of help for my rabbit namedOreo. I have noticed that Oreo seems bored whenever he is inside hiscage. He is very hyper only when I let him out of his cage to play.Does anybody know what I can do to make his time in his cage moreenjoyable? I am planning on buying toys for him, but what canIdo in the mean time?

That is a great link that Zee posted...These aregreat suggestions from our buddy Carolyn...(Hope you don't mind,Carolyn) ;)

Here's some thoughts on toys rabbits love. You don't have to buy some of the things they love the most.

-untreated baskets
-empty toilet paper rolls
-a slinky
-cardboard boxes
-balls
-cotton towels
-old phonebooks
-a brown paper bag
-a wicker mat
-baby rattles
-cat toys
-apple or fruit wood to chew on
-tissue paper in a box
-some parrot wooden toys that hang from cage and are different colors

Others will jump in with more suggestions.

-Carolyn

Mine LOVE slinkys the best! Hugs! Kricket

Keep the toys simple and cheap, and if he won't play with something today he may the next day.
