Rabbit gnawed on stained wood!

Hi,
Quick question my rabbit gnawed on a small piece of wood that I stained a long time ago. I will not allow it again but should I anticipate a problem with his health bc of this?

I think this time round might be ok, the taste would probably put him off doing it again and he might have a bit of an icky tummy for a day. Mine have gnawed a little on stained wood and never touched it again. If he continues gnawing on it though then I'd suggest putting toys near the area to distract him and covering the wood with a sliced toilet roll card or chicken wire.
