I saw a commercial yesterday for this thing called a peticure. It isn't a trimmer, it files the nail down, simulating the way it would in nature. It has a guard so you aren't filing anything but the nail. It isaround $30, but it eliminates the risks and pain that a nail clipper has. I also wrote to them and asked if they have ever used it on rabbits. They said yes, they reccomend it for rabbits. I am going to order mine after payday.

Check out their site and demos at http://www.peticure.com

I'd want to see it in action first, in person. How noisy is it? How long does each nail take? And with that huge piece of equipment can you actually see what you are doing on a tiny bunny paw?

If you use a good, sharp set of nail clippers the nail isn't split or chipped at all.
