I have gaint Pecan and Oak trees in my backyard. I was wondering if they were safe for my bunnies to chew on. I thought they would make good chewing toys that are free.;)

Good question! Like Spring, I know Oak isnt good for them. I cant seem to find anything on Pecan so I would err on the side of caution if I were you. Do you have any apple trees around? Bunnies love to chew on apple twigs (just be sure they arent sprayed) :)

Just a reminder that ALL twigs and branches are safer if they've been dried out. I believe it's usually the sap that's toxic? Whatever it is, the recommendation is always to let fresh branchesdry for a few weeks, or at least stick them in the oven for a few hours.

I also brush off any algae, lichensor moss (with a stiff brush),some forms are toxic to rabbits.
