I have been ordering 3rd cut timothy hay in bulk from Kleenmama's for awhile now but since they are presently out of it for the season I am wondering if anyone has been ordering Oxbow orchard grass and/or Oxbow 2nd cut Western timothy from Dr. Foster and Smith (in bulk)?.
What is the hay like?. I know from experience that it varies.
Thanks :sunshine:

I've used both brands. They're all fine. The hay does differ from bag to bag. I guess different cuts at different times of the year. My buns will eat both. They do prefer local cut hay though!!!

I get oxbow from my school's oxbow rep (at about half retail value through their oxbow univerity program for vet students). There was one point lst year where I felt the timothy was a little more brown than usual but I've always been very happy with the orchard. It's so green and soft and the buns love it. They get offered oxbow orchard and timothy as well as a blend of oat wheat and barley I get at a local rabbit rescue.
I order it by the 9 lb boxes which is a manageable size for me to carry around.
