As you all know, our Blue doe had a litter this week (Tuesday), and we have one surviving kit, now 5 days old. Little Blue's mama, Velvet, has taken to motherhood very well. She takes beautiful care of that little one!

I'm pretty sure mama is feeding Little Blue more than 2 times a day...or, more likely, she has lots of milk, and he gets it ALL. I've never seen a baby belly like this one.

Here's the question...he/she has been a little gassy. Should we be concerned? I would assume that mother's milknaturally contains everything the little bunner needs to make it go potty as it should. Is he just swallowing too much air/overfilling his tummy, making him a little gassy? Little Blue doesn't seem to be in any discomfort. Fellow breeders, Advice? Comments? Thanks :D
