Old to rabbits, New to this forum

Just wanted to introduce myself. Been keeping bunnies for about 45 years. These days I have two house bunnies, a 5 yr old mini satin and an 8 week old silver fox. Both males, I love my boys!

Over the decades I've had rabbits in just about every type of cage, enclosure, free run, house bunnies, you name it. Have had many different breeds as well as a few mutts. Have bred rabbits and also (and pretty much always) have had them as pets.

I grow my yard as rabbit pasture, with all kinds of yummy weeds, and also grow some greens for them as well.

I recently lost my two year old rabbit to a sudden illness that lasted less than 24 hours. He got ill the same night my daughter went to the hospital. My 5 year old has some kidney issues after a lengthy illness last year.

Looking forward to being part of a rabbit community again!

Thank you. My daughter is home and doing much better. My new bunny is binkying all over the living room. Spring is on the way and things are looking up!
