Off Topic But I Need To Know Something!

Hi, ( Sorry for posting on here but i carnt find any hamster forums )

We are getting hamsters soon and i need to know what breeds of hamsterscan be kept together maybe 3 or 4 without fighting or killing eachother and what sexes fight females or males or both?

Answers ASAP please if you are able to give me any

Dwarfs are notoriously territorial. Not much info, but all I know.

We were told our dwarfs would live happily together....they didn't.:disgust:

Maybe females would though, mine are males.

Females are generally less aggressive in my experience in hamsters, the opposite of most rodents.

A pair is best as an odd number like 3 might cause them to gang up on the odd one out.
Pairs usually bond very closely.

Well here is how it went,

We went to a pet shop brought a hamster (for me)its spposedto be a she but its a he (he puts my dog to shame with his bits)loland now has the wierd name of ''Ram-Rod'' andfond out they were syrian hamsters so we could not by any more than 1.So my little brother and sister got ''Gerbils'' my sister a ginger onenow called ''Rooney'' and my little brother a black one and he calledhim ''T-j'' and we went out anf brought a new cage andhamster for my brother and they are settling in quite nice...
