Hey guys,

Yesterday, we went to a pet store that has recently been sold to a different company and revamped. I was very intrigued when I came across a new product... The product is a new 'nibbling toy' made for 'rodents'.Apparently, itis not a food and is based on MODIFIED (non genetically) cornstarch so that it cannot be absorbed.

Anyone tried these yet? Any thoughts about the product? I bought some Apple ones for Crumble but have yet to give it to him. :)

I have had the sticks for my bunnies, and they ate them! I don't know if it would have caused harm but i haven't had them again, because i didn't know if they were supposed to eat them .

They are designed to be eaten but have no nutritional value :)They make them for dogs as well and the goal is to be able to provide the pets with teeth-wearing items without them being fattening.

I'd rather use sticks or other natural items for chewing, as THEY contain fiber while cornstarch doesn't. But if a rabbit was chewing on plastic etc, this might be useful in diverting him.
