Hello, i have searched for a forum to help with a bunny suffering ongoing lower jaw abscess and found you guys. Little Bambi is 7 and Nugget is 8 1/2 years old. Very pampered house rabbits that get only the very best of everything.
Hope to interact with many of you soon on various aspects of rabbit appreciation.

and their set up at home...it allows me to open the entire cage section up to give them full run of the house while i am home. But still enough room to play when i cannot supervise them. Heres a picture of them both watching the television

Love the area! I'm surprised they don't chew the loose pile carpet. I like how it has a grass/lawn look.

Nugget occasionally pulls some of the strands of carpet up and makes little piles in his castle but the piles are only in the corners and he chooses which bits to pull so its not bald in one place, once the piles are a good size he will stop adding to them but if i clear them up then he rebuilds them. In all they are quite well behaved, the odd digging noise u hear but is more for attention that destruction. Under the green rug i have put some neopreen matt down to stop accidents reaching the carpet underneath. When you hoover however, all you hear is ping ping ping ping of poops that have been thrown or dropped into the deep pile. They have not pee’d on the carpet just a few over excited poops roll out at dinner time during the ritual binkies.
