My daughters and I adopted bunnies this summer and we are totally in love!

We have two mini satin sisters -- one chocolate and one pearl. The chocolate is outgoing and slim, will quickly present for pats and snuggles. The pearl is friendly and chubby, will give lots and lots of kisses but doesn't stay in one place long. Both will do anything for a raisin. We had them fixed at about 5 months and they handled the surgery like champs. But they hate getting their nails clipped. We work very diligently with them on socialization and they are very friendly.

I had rabbits as a kid, in an outside hutch in the backyard -- but so much has changed! Who knew they had personalities and preferences? Our girls live in a condo with an ex pen on an enclosed porch and get lots of free-range time when we are home. They love kale and romaine ... but the mint will sit in the bowl for quite a while.

They are still young and immature, but I would like them to free range the whole house eventually. I'm interested in what other people's experiences have been on this and what I can do to make this most effective.

Thanks so much -- very appreciative to have found such a supportive forum!
