I am adding a show rabbits dictionary to the soon to come Rabbitry Resources section. It's in the works!! I need PICTURES!!!! If you have any pictures that you think could fit in the below categories, please add them!! I may be putting up a few more of these threads over the next few days/weeks.

If you aren't sure if a picture would work, go ahead and post it. If I can't use it here. I may be able to use it elsewhere. But, please, make sure the pictures are clear, in focus and take up as much of the frame as possible. If the picture is showing off a body type- please have the rabbit correctly posed. If you have a rabbit that would work, butaren't sure how to pose it, just ask!

UPDATE

Edited to Add: The breed names below are just suggestions. There are many breeds that might be able to work. Just a reminder that these pictures will not show up in the Bunny Breeds section- so the rabbits don't need to be purebreds or show quality!! Post 'em all!

· Commercial- And New Zealand breeders?

· Arch- Florida White, New Zealand, Mini Rexes
· Crown- Calling Hollands!!
· Semi-Arch, Mandolin- Flemish people, bring it on!
·
· Cylindrical- And Himilayan's on here?
· Roman Nose- English Lop lovers- here ya go!

· Charlie- Bring on those cute lightly spotted broken bunnies!
·
· Disqualification- Any obvious DQ's?

· Flabby- Ok, I know there are some bunnies that are a little plump out there-show 'em off!
· Flat shoulders- Any commercial or compact breeds with shoulder problems?
· Massive- French Lops, Flemish or Conti Giants! Let me see those big ol' mugs.

· Pinched Hindquarters- Got a tiny butt? Show it off here.
· Slipped Crown- Calling those tricky Hollands!

· Snipey- Pointy noses your thing? Point them this way.

Hi here is a picture of my Black Tortoiseshell jr. Holland Lop Named Oakley he is only 9weeks old in the pic and you can see his ears are a bit long but hopefully he will fill out a bunch and grow into thoses ears by the time he reaches seniorhood.

Charlie - the black charlie std rex (I have to stop letting my lil sis near my rabbits at weaning she has no imagination), You can't see it very well in this pic but it looks like some one upended a pepper shaker on his forehead:D

I think I've got photos of all the body types:

Full arch - Good photo of a Checkered Giant& Hare.

Semi arch - American

Commercial - New Zealand

Cylindrical - Himalayan

Compact - thousands of photos of those LOL

I'm really busy this week, but will try to hunt the photos down for you.

Pam

Thanks Hellsmistress!

Pam- That'd be great! No rush, this section is going to take a while to get together.

TundraKatieBean- Yes, please post the photos! Thank you :)

He has a chest patch and an elbow patch. I think his elbow patch looks like the leather elbows on english professer's sport jackets :p
