WOW. This is amazing! She looks a lot like a flemmie. Such a sweet heart. Thank God you took her in!

Here are some more recent pictures of her. Potty training is going poorly. She seems to have a good idea on pooping in her litter box but when it comes to peeing she is terrible. She pees on the bed or as soon as we let her out of her cage she goes and pees. I dont want her to have to hold it in and cant understand why she isnt going. When she does go in her cage it is usually in a corner next to her litter box.

I also built her a fort out of some cardboard boxes that she can run around in

John, I think you should start a blog. I'm always looking forward to reading and seeing pics of Crabtree as she gets older!

So i took Crabtree to the vet to get fixed and he told me that she....is actually a he. The vet told me it's difficult to identify the sex of the bunny at such a young age (the last time we brought him in)

The operation went well and he is alot more calmer now. I made the bedroom bunnyproof so he can run around alot more now and is pretty good with his potty training but still has some accidents sometimes.

Thanks for the update! Always love hearing about Crabtree.

Hubby just pointed out what a cool pic this is. Has Crabtree, you and your cat's image by the door!

Welcome to RO! I'm also in LA so if you need help with anything local - just holler! Wanted to put you in touch with a bun rescue group I work with ZoohCorner (www.mybunny.org) who are great helping hands-on with new bun owners. Check out their site - they host alot of informational events at Petco's and other places.
Sounds like your doing just fine with your adorable bun. Can't wait to hear more.

He's adorable!
How much does Crabtree weigh? He looks kind of like a flemmie.

Welcome to RO, others can instruct in the "Best Bunny Care" and I willl enjoy your posting of your new bun.

Have been in your shoes and you seem like your intelligent enough to know when you don't "Know" and you ask questions (most intelligent thing you can do as a bu owner) so your on the right path.

Looking forward to hearing more (start a Blog)..

Hello, I am new and I have adopted a whole litter ofbaby bunnies that were born in a dirtyautomechanics shop. I found homes for all except I had to keep the runt. Her name is Pancake. She is three months old now. I am wondering if i should get her fixed and at what age?

Here is Crabtree now and his sister Evelyn. I went away for a week and even though he had other people to hang out with he got very cranky and aggressive (tipping over dishes, not being friendly, etc.) so i got him a friend to bond with.
