How is the little cutie doing? Those pics of her with the formula just make me smile. :inlove:

A few nights ago she had some light diarrhea and we thought if she was still having it by the morning we would take her in to the vet. Come morning time it was back to normal ball form but still kinda glistening.

That night we had tried to give her a bath because we hadnt been able to bathe her since we found her almost 3 weeks ago. We put a little bit of warm water in a sink and tried but she ended up shaking all over the place and twitching getting herself soaking wet and looking like some type of weird rat creature. Her heart was beating crazy fast so we decided to wrap her in a warm towel and calm her down. All the while while this was happening she was having a major bad case of diarrhea and was getting wet poop all over the bathroom.

After she had calmed down we flipped her over to try and clean her bottom and her fur was covered in wet and dry pool so we took a small pair of scissors and the affected parts of her fur away. She was a really good girl about it.

The next morning she was fine again other than her poop again looking glistening. She's active and eats a ton and we are slowly trying to get her off the formula but she still loves to have it. She seems to have learned to poop in one corner and looks otherwise content.

She is a messy eater, i put her food in her cup up to the top of it thinking she dosent like to stretch out for it if the food is too deep in her bowl but she knocks it over and just eats it off her bedding.

She is picky with her alfalfa....eating some of it, using some for bedding, and just ignoring some other parts of it.

Still dosent understand the water feeder so i gave her a little cup and she drinks out of that.

I saw her yawn for the first time....kinda funny looking

Oh my gosh she is sooo cute!
I have a question, about the diarrhea. Is it runny poop, or is it ball-like but shiny? I'm asking from when you said it was glistening. This could actually be her cecal pellets, and not diarrhea.

The following is a very good article about bunny poop! All you ever wanted to know....

The diarrhea was really wet for the most part and at times it was kinda in ball from but wet and gooey. I talked to the vet and he said a simple change from alfalfa to timothy hay would work and it did. She's pooping normally now and is doing well. :)

AWW look at those ears! If she grows into them, she'll be a big bunny! And I see you still have all your remote buttons--ours has them all chewed off due to bunnies.

Well she has gone after the remote a few times but she's been pretty good about not chewing things she isnt supposed to chew. Ya she has some big ears, most of the time when she is laying down only one of them comes up unless something startles her or she gets excited.

aww look at those ears!!!

glad shes doin better

Aww what a sweet and precious little baby...she is just absolutely adorable!

Sorry i havent been on here in awhile to do an update.

Crabtree is doing fine but is becoming a cranky little thing at times. She chews on everything, poops a ton and seems to just love to pee on the bed whenever i want her to come up and just hang out with me.

She has a litterbox in her cage and uses that when she is in there but as soon as i bring her out of her cage it is like her mission to just poop and pee everywhere as much as possible.

I threaten to take her to the park and leave her there but she calls my bluff all the time.

Here are some new pics of my cute chewing monster
