I have a Purebred 8 week old Fawn Mini Lop Doe. I have one problem, She pees when I hold her a lot, But I use a towel when I'm holding her. She's so tame and friendly.
Any Tips or Pointers??? :?

Hi Jared :D

Do you mean she pees a lot when you hold her, or if you have been holding her for a long time she pees?

Seeing as she is so young it could just be because she is nervous, or if you have been holding her for a while she just needs to go! If you want to cuddle her for hours (which is really lovely :D ) then maybe every half an hour or so, put her back in her pen near her litterbox to see if she wants to go.

Incidentally...are you litter training her? I would definately recommend it :).

I mean litterbox train her in her cage/hutch. Where does she live? NIC cage? Bought cage? Hutch?

Most bunnies are not just free-roaming. Mine certainly isn't. He has a large cage attached to a large dog exercise pen and his litter tray is in there.

Try and use a corner she normally uses anyway- it will make her pen so much cleaner and nicer and much easier for you to clean too! :)

I totally understand- when I used to live at home we had 7 dogs and 2 cats, so Benji lived outside. But now I have my own flat it's all his!! :D

I understand but my cage is really small I have nothing really to work with.
I would seriously work on getting a larger pen. If a NIC one isn't an option, maybe a XL dog cage to start, that way she actually has some space in her cage, and then possibly bunny-proofing your bedroom for a few hours of run time each day. Pet store cages are too small for rabbits. Would you keep your cat in that cage?

Also, you might want to do some reading on bunny behavior. Soon your bun will get hormonal and come into its "teenage" time, and that sweet tame bunny who lets you hold her will be gone. Most bunnies simply aren't a animal that likes to be held, it goes against their instincts. Are you planning to get it altered? That will help a lot of the issues your bun is going to have :)

Same as above, you need to increase the hutch space and give her time to roam. If you are holding her, she'll go when she has to, so you'll have to stick with the towel or else get her some canine/felis free time to explore and work on potty training.
