Muddy puddles

With all the rain in the last couple of days my bunnies have a lot of squelchy mud in their run. The grass is now pretty much none existent. I hear using lots of hay on the floor can attract rats and mice so what can I use to stop them getting all muddy? TIA

Concrete pavers if you want a permanent solution. Or you could try something like thick rubber horse stall mats. If you need something more temporary, I would say straw or kiln dried pine shavings.
