I have a shed with about 12 rabbits in it, they are in stacked cages. I have californians and standard chinchillas. I have breed both chin does about 15 days ago and I need to move the cages and the shed to make room for a new shed that is coming. Should I move is now or should I wait to see if they kindle? I am not sure if the the does are pregnant? Any advise?

Move them before they kindle..afterwards is just to much stress on mother and babies..

I have heard of mothers actually being stressed and killing their kits...

I Agree! Move them before they kindle. :biggrin2:

If they have only been pregnant about 15 days then they won't kindle for about fifteen more days so youshould move them before they kindle.

Before - if she thinks her babies are in danger she might go to extremes to protect them like maybe eat tgem
