Moonlight Breeding

HI I was reading breeding tips on the jersey wooly web site when I found an article about Moonlight Breeding. I thought this was very interesting (I love myths:biggrin So I tried to find out more about it, but I only found two web sites about it(not kidding I tried rephrazing it bout 5 times) So I was wondering If any one here breeds by the moon and what you know about it.

Without reading the articles (yet) I know a number of breeders who prefer to breed when there's a full moon. They find the does are more receptive and willing to breed, and when that's the case there's a higher success rate. You aren't necessarily going to find it on a breeder's website but you'll hear about it at rabbit shows when the subject of breeding comes up. Myth? Maybe, maybe not...
