I've tried this before but since a year has passed since we've had Phoenix in our home, I'd like to try this again. I really want to figure out what she possibly has in her and what her colouring would be called and her fur type. I've read the sticky in taking proper pictures for guessing breeds and I think that will help out this time as I took appropriate pictures.

Phoenix is about 3-4 years of age (as per the vet) and weight 3.5-4lbs probably closer to 4 lbs but not more that 4. I'd say 3.78lbs.

I cannot describe her colouring, it seems like she's got hints of blue/lilac throughout her fur... I have taken it in the light and in the dark with a flash and you can kind of see what I mean. She also has brown eyes.

Her fur if I run my hand in the opposing direction (it just sticks right up and does not fall back down) what is her fur type?

Her colour in a darker setting (she is stretched out here not posing, more for colour ideas)

Another pic of her fur parted...

Finally one last photo from the front so you can see her feet, face and ear structure... this is what her ears are like most of the time..

I would really appreciate some insight as I know she's a mutt and she's cute but I just love her disposition and would love to get another bun like her that's similar/same breed.

Thanks all :) Look forward to answers!!

Fur is rollback, color seems like chestnut agouti but lighter in some places. Someone who is more experienced with breeds and colors can help you with those.

Good luck figuring out what she is!

HMMMmm. Thanks, I also forgot to mention, she's solid creme coloured underneath lol... from her big ears and her markings, sometimes I feel like she's a super mini flemish giant lol

I think her color is lynx.
Here is a color description:
Surface color on the top and sides of the body is to be a lilac mingled with fawn. The intermediate band is to be fawn, the chest is to be a fawn, the top of the tail is to be lilac and sparsely ticked with fawn.
All are to have a slate-blue undercolor.
The undercolor of the belly is to be lilac. The nape of the neck is to be fawn.
Eyes- Blue-gray

Her ears and feet do look pretty big for a 4lb bunny so I would guess that she is a mix of a large breed with some smaller breed. I think her head does resemble a palomino but definitely not her size.

OMG.... Sarah!! You've made an awesome discovery!!!!! I think she is not only Lynx in colour but also a Lynx rabbit!!!!!!

Look at this link!!!! http://wildpro.twycrosszoo.org/S/0M..._O_cuniculus_dom/BRC61-70p06_Lynx_Wheaten.htm

That's NUTS.... She looks identical in body and face shape but on the slightly thinner side... even my boyfriend couldn't believe it.... I'm surprised that I chanced finding her... what are the odds....

What do you think? Should I search for breeders of this breed? Even the feet and the ears are big!!!!! :D

Apparently these are super rare UK breeds... I'm not even kidding she looks identical ... here is a forum discussion on the topic from another forum... http://forums.rabbitrehome.org.uk/showthread.php?335992-Lux-Rabbit

Lux (Lynx)
The Lux rabbit has been around since 1922. Created in Germany, it is named after its lynx coloration - lilac tipping on an agouti hair shaft with a fawn band. It looks in color like a Lynx Palomino, however is in type similar to a large Havana rabbit. It weighs up to 3.5 kg (7 pounds).

If I search perlfee and marburgerfeh rabbits, she does look like a cross between the two which is how I found the lynx... OMG I feel crazy... am I off my rocker here?!

The body shape, head shpae, everything fits!! It would also explain why she's always hungry!!

Haha that's crazy! I don't know if there is any way to figure out if that's her breed but I do see the similarities
